Plant-based personal care company, Tom’s of Maine, is helping to bring the healing power of the outdoors inside by sponsoring daily nature videos.

How does it work? Every day, the Tom’s of Maine Instagram features a new #NatureNurtures video hosted by a yoga teacher, wellness expert or nature guide to help encourage healthy routines at home and provide healing. The series is funded by Tom’s of Maine–donating $50,000 to support 50 wellness experts in 50 states.

Rob Robinson, brand and goodness leader at Tom’s of Maine said: “We have a longstanding commitment to supporting small businesses that help protect nature and aid people in need. We believe in the healing power of nature and at a time when we most need to venture outside, connect and heal, we think these daily wellness experiences that bring the outdoors inside can have a positive impact.”

The videos include: Vinyasa Yoga with The Portland Yoga Project, Guided Meditation Session by New Stress Relief, Goat Yoga with Lively Balance Wellness and Bird Watching with IndiGo Birding Nature Tours.

To help aid the healthcare professionals, Tom’s of Maine has also donated $60,000 and nearly $500,000 worth of personal care products to Direct Relief, a humanitarian organization providing PPE and supplies to communities affected by COVID-19.

Tom’s of Maine products are free from artificial flavors, fragrances, sweeteners, colors and preservatives and never tested on animals. All packaging is recyclable through a partnership with upcycling leader TerraCycle or participating municipalities.
