BEARPAW, a global leader in footwear for women, men and children, introduced PETA-approved vegan styles to its product line.

The brand is now offering vegan versions of its classic boot and slipper – Elle Short, Elle Tall, and Loki, featuring a wool-free lining and suede-free exterior. All are constructed with 100% vegan microsuede upper, a polyester blend lining and a lightweight rubber outsole.

“Our team has been working closely with PETA to ensure that we are compliant with vegan industry standards and is very proud of the outcome. We hope to continue working with PETA and expanding our vegan offerings in the future,”  noted John Pierce, BEARPAW President.

“Today’s consumers reject cruelty to animals, so BEARPAW’s decision to ban rabbit fur is as business-savvy as it is compassionate,” says PETA Director Danielle Katz. “The brand’s warm and stylish collection of ‘PETA-Approved Vegan’ boots and slippers makes it easier than ever for shoppers to put their kindest foot forward.”

The Vegan Collection is treated with NeverWet®, an innovative technology that allows fabrics to breathe, while dramatically repelling water from the surface. The Vegan Elle Short ($69.99), Vegan Elle Tall ($79.99) and Vegan Loki ($44.99) are now available now.
