Tensions are apparently mounting in the royal family according to some reports because Meghan Markle and Prince Harry may be planing to raise Baby Susex vegan.
Sounds good to us. So what’s the rub?
According to some, Her Majesty, now 92, and well-known for her love of hunting believes that bringing up a child in the Windsor household who eats only plant-based foods goes against the royal “grain.”
Well “grain” is plant-based, right?
A bit of context: Meghan Markle is a vocal animal rights activist and has been a long time activist for animal rights. The former actress believes in the fair and ethical treatment of animals.
Some news reports indicate that “while filming the television show Suits, Meghan reportedly refused to wear fur. She is also opposed to wearing real leather and chooses to wear vegan leather instead.”

Both Harry and Meghan try to stick to a healthy diet. For Meghan, this means eating primarily a plant-based diet during the week.
The animal activist incorporates a lot of fruits and vegetables into her diet and loves to drink green juice. She once said that green juice is like a medicine to her and that she drinks it as a coffee replacement. She also likes to eat a lot of salad and loves almonds, watermelon, and acai bowls.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry even used vegan paint for their baby’s nursery. What some don’t know is that many paints contain dairy products or beeswax as a binding agent and, shockingly, some paint is tested on animals. Additionally, the paint may be colored with crushed animal or insect parts.
What’s more, the couple chose to use an Eucalyptus infused vegan paint in a neutral color to decorate the room. The paint will have a relaxing scent and features antibacterial and antimicrobial properties.
So, with a bit of royal drama to unfold, we’re confident that the Queen will see more green and less “red” in this decision and go with the flow.
