This is a delicious drink to sip on a crisp fall day while reading a great book, listening to your favorite music or simply sitting outside taking in the great autumn colors.

Amazing Spiced Apple Cider Recipe
8 cups apple cider
2 tablespoons date syrup (optional)
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon allspice
4 cinnamon sticks
3 star anise
8 whole cloves
- In a large pot over medium heat, pour in the apple cider.
- Stir in the date syrup, allspice, star anise, cinnamon sticks and nutmeg. Bring to a low simmer.
- Stick the pointy ends of the cloves into the orange so that just the buds of the cloves are visible. Add the orange into the cider. Cover and continue cooking over low heat for 20 minutes.
- Remove from heat and strain the cider. Serve hot in mugs with an optional cinnamon stick to garnish.
